Brought up on a dairy farm in Normandy, France, Roselyne was always surrounded by good food; her mother was a keen gardener and her father a fruit tree enthusiast; her parents also had a cottage industry making butter, cream and selling dairy milk; her family were almost self-sufficient as a result. 
 
At the age of 16, entrepreneurial Roselyne set up her own businesses selling pancakes and galettes to tourists in the summer, which she did with great success.

Roselyne came to England at the age of 20; quickly establishing herself as an expert in the area of Vegetarian Cookery, she became Principal Tutor then Consultant for the Vegetarian Society UK Ltd. She then ran her own Vegetarian Catering Company and was producing a range of Frozen Vegetarian Meals for the health food industry.

As Roselyne's Catering Business was thriving, she was very much in demand for her services as a Consultant to the Catering Industry; she ran many Seminars training Chefs in Vegetarian Cookery all over the UK.

In 1990, Roselyne opened her own Cookery School in London and St Albans; La Cuisine Imaginaire became THE place to learn how to cook and present vegetarian food well. Acknowledged for doing so by magazines, TV and Radio stations, Roselyne was invited to write a BBC Book ‘Cuisine Imaginaire’, advise on a range of Vegetarian Meals for Marks and Spencer and train the Royal Chefs at Buckingham Palace. 

Roselyne took a break to raise her two children; she now teaches her own cookery courses from home.

Roselyne’s Cookery Courses at La Cuisine Imaginaire are small and friendly. Themes for day courses include Italian Vegetarian Cookery, Dinner Party Veg Cooking, Learn to Chop Like Professionals do, etc. Children’s courses are also available. Adult Courses take place mostly at the week-ends whilst Children’s courses take place during the school holidays.
